experience in the construction industry. We hold numerous other
state licenses and industry certifications... no other inspection

performed under the strandards of practice for ASHI, InerNACHI,
Certified Master Inspector (CMI) and their respective code of
ethics. We perform under the guidelines set forth and recommended
by the local Boards of Realtors and the Inspection Addendum to the

What type of report does Home Check Systems, Inc. furnish a perspective buyer?
We submit a comprehensive narrative report that
is the most informative and buyer friendly report available. We do
not use pre-printed forms with check-off boxes or with multiple
choices. We customize your report to fit the home and your
requirements. We are going to do a thorough inspection, based on
the standards of practice but we are going to communicate our
inspection findings in a neutral non-scary manner. We preach we
won't kill your deal and we practice it in the field every day and
our referral sources appreciate it!

Will Home Check Systems, Inc. do a follow-up inspection after the seller vacates and prior to closing?
Yes. We think this is very important to insure that furniture and/or personal items have not masked problems or defects. There is a charge for this extra service.
What if we have questions or would like to consult with Home Check Systems, Inc. after the inspection?
We welcome your call and your questions! We want to make sure you know exactly what you are buying with no ambiguities. We can be contacted by telephone, facsimile, electronic mail or through our web site.
Will Home Check Systems, Inc. give repair and cost-to-cure estimates on defects?
No. Home Check Systems, Inc. does not repair work therefore the professional policy of this company is to refer you to the entity (vendor) performing your work to provide you with an estimate. Home Check Systems, Inc. will gladly provide you with a list of vendor names for repairs if you prefer.
After the inspection how long will it be before I have the report?
You will have your customer report within 24 hours or less. Home Check Systems, Inc. can send your report via facsimile or through electornic mail. The report may be sent directly to you and/or to your Realtor. We also have an immediate hand written summary page if there are crucial time lines that can be offered at the time of inspection. A follow-up original will be sent via U.S. Mail by request only.
May I be present at the time of the inspection?
Yes. Home Check Systems, Inc. encourages your presence but it is not necessary. We do respectfully request that if you do attend, to hold your questions and comments until the entire inspection has been completed. After the insoection we will review the report with you and answer any of your questions.
Do I really need a Radon Test?
Absolutely yes. Florida is made up of pourus
sand, limestone rock and coral this allows for gases to perculate
to the top (pipes and elevator shafts included). We have found
between 60-70% of our test have shown elevated levels in Lee and
Collier Counties. Currently it is mandatory in many other counties
in Florida and we expect the same in the near future.
What you should know about Radon
Do I really need to have a mold inspection?
Yes. Many insurance companies are declineing
claims related to moisture and mold. It is important for you to
have this settled prior to your purchase. We live in Southwest
Florida-there is no denying the humidty levels here. Mold only
needs a small amount of moisture and can grow in less than 2 days.
